Why You Should Use These 3 LinkedIn Business Tips

Article by Floyd J Tapia

One of the most powerful social media tools for business executives and professionals is LinkedIn. This website is entirely different from other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. When using LinkedIn, the connections you make are for career purposes.

This Internet platform wasn’t designed for socializing about your kids or where you’re going on vacation. This is a network site that encourages making the type of connections that will help you create more leads that will hopefully turn into sales.

LinkedIn for business provides you a unique way for creating these professional connections that covers any type of industry and market. Yet, there is a learning curve as with anything you first attemtp and you need to welcome and accept this fact. Today we will be discussing three very important LinkedIn training tips that will help make this system much more advantageous for you.

1. Choosing Your LinkedIn Groups Wisely

LinkedIn gives you the opportunity to join up to 50 groups. Yet, if you want to become a real part of any group, it is suggested that you stick with just a few. This will assist in your keeping track of your interactions. Do not forget that you are also a newbie when it comes to LinkedIn so there will be a learning curve you will need to adapt to.

One other necessary objective is when choosing groups to interact with, make sure they share your goals and interests. This will make connecting with other LinkedIn members much easier and enjoyable. And finally, try to choose groups that have somewhat of a high number of members to work with in getting yourself noticed.

Other LinkedIn marketing experts suggest that you visit your groups two to three times per week. You must remember to participate in discussions through leaving comments or sharing content. You can also start conversations by asking questions or posting useful articles.

2. Backing Up Your Contacts

Although there are numerous safety features that LinkedIn uses, there have been members that have had their sites hacked into and have lost their contact database. This list of contacts is very important and can bring grief to one when it is lost.

How can you protect yourself against such a loss? There’s an easy solution. Simply back up your list. And for those that have never done this, here are the steps for backing up your LinkedIn contacts.

A. In your LinkedIn profile, go to Contacts. You’ll notice in the bottom, right hand corner a clickable option to “Export connections”. Click on “Export connections”.

B. You will be taken to a new page focused on “exporting” your LinkedIn connections. You have several format options including Microsoft Outlook (.csv file), Outlook Express (.csv file), Yahoo! Mail (.csv file), MAC OS X Address Book (.vcf file) and vCard (.vcf file). Pick the format that’s right for you.

C. You will go through a security verification process.

D. You now save the file. You can also add “Dec16″ to the filename so that you remember when you saved your list and then choose your destination where you want your files to be placed on your computer.

You will now be able to open the.csv file to double-check the contents of the file. You can also import the.csv file with your LinkedIn connections into other applications such as an e-mail program or a CRM application. So, now that you know how to do this simple action, have you backed up your LinkedIn contacts? If not, go do it now. You will be happy you did.

3. Build a Trustworthy LinkedIn Profile

This is a combination of things that you do to your LinkedIn profile page that allows other members to get to know you better. They should be able to see the confidence you are exemplifying and then trust you enough to either call you or e-mail to make formal introductions.

This will be very important to you because this was probably one of the main reasons you opened a LinkedIn account. You wanted to establish business relationships in order to attain that new job you’ve longed for or to secure that huge client as an end result.

As one expert said, when a lead falls into your lap, you want to be ready to coat them with a huge dose of trust factor. Leaving your profile page incomplete is a big mistake and will give the impression that you lack professionalism.

The main thing you want to remember when using LinkedIn is that you want to take full advantage of what your profile can do for your career. You will definitely want to add a good photo and perhaps add a video to your profile page. Be selective about the groups you join and how you professionally interact with other members.

And don’t forget to back up your contact list that you’ve worked so hard to build. I cannot say this enough. By usingthese tips, you may in time become a successful LinkedIn member that others will notice and do business with on a regular basis.

My Online Business Strategy – 5 Concepts You Should Learn From Gary Gregory to Make Money Online

Article by Wayne Dobson

Gary Gregory has proven over and over again that he deserves to be called a Super Affiliate. George Brown, the Creator of Google Sniper even calls Gary the most successful Google Sniper to date and says that there isn’t anyone better to learn from about online marketing than Gary himself!

To be as successful as Gary, you should follow in his footsteps.

Tenacity This is one of the key charactaristics of this Super Affilliate. He never gives up. A few years ago he said that he was going to make money online, no matter what the cost. And today he earns a 5 figure income from his online marketing endeavours.

When you embark on your journey of starting you internet business, tenacity should be part of your strategy. You must learn and discover, implement, test and try over and over again. Remember that a lot of people that fail gave up just before their big break through.

Keep on learning and tweaking your offering untill you are satisfied that it is the best out there. You should ask yourself if you would buy your own product. Maybe even ask someone to test your product and listen to their compliments and take not of their complaints. Address the problems, fix them and only then offer your product as ‘the next best thing’.

Caring and sharing

Gary Cares. There’s not much more to say. Gary has spent a lot of hours researching different business concepts. He did a lot of research and followed numerous different avenues in his search for the perfect solution, and when he found it, he developed a system to help new and struggling online entrepreneurs.

Should you be any different? No! You should share your knowledge and lend a helping hand to others that are struggling to find their way. This way you create a buzz on the internet which will automatically boost your own business.

Offering Products that are Worthwhile

Gary’s package, which he proudly calls ‘My Online Business Strategy’, is a well researched product that promises to help thousands of people generate and income from the internet. What makes it unique is that this product is something you can use and it will deliver. No hyped up sales talk to sell something that is not worthwile.

If you are planning to develop a product for the internet marketing world, you should take note of this. Your product should add value to the online entrepreneur. Your customers should be able to implement your product and reap benefits from it. Do not market your product as the wonder of the millenium while it really is a substandard product that will leave people disappointed and frustrated.

The proof is in the pudding! Be prepared to proove your concept’s success by being able to provide legitimate figures of your success.

Support

As an online entrepreneur, ‘location, location, location’, does not really mean anything. But, ‘support, support, support’, could put you in the front row of online entrepreneurs. Many online strategies are sold where the customer is left out in the cold to struggle through the information. They receive little or no help in setting up their new business.

Gary offers pre-launch, sales and after sales support to his customers. This is what really makes him unique!

You could learn a very important lesson here. Offer your customers support that will impress them beyond their wildest imagination. Be available! Offer advice, offer online help and manuals that are clear to understand and implement.

Have a Vision

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! You should envision your product and what it will do for you and your clients. Put your vision down on paper and construct a goal checklist. Work methodically through each goal and tick it off as ‘completed’ as soon as you’ve have reached it.

Do not allow yourself to become distracted. Keep your eye on the prize at all cost. Drive yourself to become the best in what you have to offer.

Home Based Business Tips – 2 Things You Should Know Right Now

Article by Omar Negron

So you’re thinking about starting your own home based business? This should be an exciting time for you but the truth is that there is a lot of hype out there. I have been in the industry for almost 4 years now so I have done and heard it all.

First off, don’t believe the hype that goes out there. I see a lot of pages saying you will get rich fast. This rarely happens and it puts a bad name on the internet marketing industry. This is why a lot people quit before they really get to start.

Home Based Business Tip #1

You should expect a challenge. Haven’t you noticed everything you truly want to accomplish in life tends to throw a challenge at you? Why should this be any different? Any time you start a business, you have to work your tail off to make it work and also you have to give it time to grow.

Home Based Business Tip 2

Stay consistent and persistent with what you are doing. Make sure what you are doing works though, and if it does, you have to keep it up. Building a home business doesn’t have any shortcuts, no matter what anyone may tell you. Once you see what works, devote to put some time and energy into that and continue to grow it. If something doesn’t work after a week does that mean it’s unsuccessful?

Of course not. If you are building your home based business with this horrible philosophy you need to change it right now.

Through out my internet marketing journey, I have noticed it is the hype that truly makes people quit.

Building a home business is no different than any other business. You will need to learn, grow and put effort into it. If you can agree to that, it may be a promising venture for you.
